Local Holiday Food with Haskap Berry Sauce

Elevate your appetizers, desserts and even Christmas breakfast by choosing to shop local! We have many local Vernon and Okanagan vendors close by who sell products that complement our haskap products. Here are some festive and local food ideas starting with an appetizer platter, quick and delicious dessert and a holiday season gingerbread pancake recipe for Christmas morning!  

Artisanal appetizer platter

There are so many great local shops, markets and farms that have everything you need for a full course Christmas meal. As part of an appetizer platter, haskap sauce pairs really well with goat cheeses like Happy Days Goat Dairy Cheese , local brie or quality cheeses from The Wedge Cheesery. Add a selection of local crackers from Okanagan Rawsome or thin slices of Cheddar Paprika Loaf or French Baguette from Vernon’s Hot Bread Shoppe.
